Accepting the invitation of Mar Paul Chittilappally at the time of the establishment of Kalyan diocese of Mumbai, a convent was started here in 1993. Sr.Merly Arackal has been rendering dedicated service here for a long time. The commitment of the sisters to the parish work is praiseworthy. The sisters here take much care and effort to attend to the needs of the major superiors and sisters coming here especially for their travel abroad.
